Molding the Winning Spirit

I coach a high school girls' basketball team. The team had started the season losing the first 8 games before I attended my first Pathways training.[link] Using the 3 S's of Yeses [link], the team met and we were Sincere, Selective and Specific about the things we were doing well. The other coach and I involved the players' ideas into future game plans, increasing their motivation to succeed. The team finished the season with a 5 win, 15 loss record, including wins over teams we had lost to early in the season. -- Larry Willoughby
